Unit Information

The Year 10 Drama Academy helps equip you with the skills necessary to become a proficient, creative, observant and multi-skilled performer in the industry. You will be taught how to build expression, freedom, confidence, energy and resilience as a performer. As a performer you will devote time to harnessing your acting craft, learn the value of team-building and focus on empowering your imagination and creativity.

This course allows you to create your own productions and includes a study of plays with a focus on both Representational and Presentational performance styles. A deeper analysis of Realism, Brecht and Theatre of the Absurd are integral to the course.
