Unit Information

Do you want to help young drivers become expert road users and limit injuries during car accidents? Use your skills to examine the crumple zone, work out how to improve a car’s structure and explore physics in action.

In this course you will explore the physics, health and essential mathematics of road safety. You will review safety features in cars and their capacity to reduce injury. Could you design and build the car of the future while considering ethical uses of natural resources and ecological issues such as fuel emissions?
