Leading Teacher - STEAM
Katrina Rees is a passionate advocate of project-based learning. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her current role of Leading Teacher – STEAM Learning, from her experience as a geologist in the mining industry and from having attained a degree in Architecture. Katrina has played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our SCIscope outreach program, and in our CoRE program that focuses on students developing their enterprise skills, whilst investigating real world problems.
Katrina is excited about playing a key role in the development of our Space Science Education Centre, which will enable students from across the state to experience our innovative space and STEM programs.
