Planned Service Outage

The Joseph Banks Secondary College IT Support Team will be taking all College services offline on Monday October 3rd and Tuesday October 4th. This outage is due to a network infrastructure upgrade which will bring faster internet and network speeds to classes across the campus.

On these days, the below services will be unavailable:

  • SEQTA (Teach, Engage and Learn)
  • SIS
  • VoIP Services
  • Printers
  • Wireless Access (Wi-Fi)
  • Desktop Services
  • ClickView
  • Identity Management
  • Helpdesk
  • JBSC Website (https://jbsc.wa.edu.au)
  • Edval
  • Shared Drives, including NAS access.

The below services will not be effected:

  • eLibrary
  • World book online

In preparation, the College recommends that students pre-download all required study and homework material to minimise the impact.
