The goal of our Digital Arts course is to introduce students to accessible and cutting-edge technologies to create contemporary artworks that have the capability to be displayed in a variety of formats. Making effective artwork requires a balance of critical and creative thinking. An artist’s perspective begins with practice and observation. You will learn how to manipulate the Elements and Principles of art in your work and take your art from analogue to digital.

The Digital Arts Course at JBSC is for the student who wishes to develop skills in digital photography, digital illustration, and digital painting. Our program introduces students to ways in which technologies such as Procreate, QR codes, augmented reality, VR headsets and Glyph Drawing are moving creative industries into the future.

Parents will need to purchase Procreate for students enrolled in this course.
