In this elective, you will explore what it takes to be in a successful band – no experience necessary! You will learn how to play a range of instruments such as guitar, keyboard, ukulele and have a go at singing, before creating a band! You will be able to recognise and distinguish between the characteristics of musical sub-genres from a range of contexts, before applying these to your own playing and analysis of songs. You will reflect, offer, and accept feedback to improve and refine your music-making and justify your musical choices when composing and performing.
