The Science Space Academy elective explores what it’s like to be an astronaut. Is there life out there, and who’s looking for it? Do you like tinkering and putting things together? If you would like to be a pioneer in the first Mission Control Centre at Joseph Banks Secondary College, then this elective will excite you. In this elective you will work in partnership with space scientists to develop a training program for budding astrophysicists. This will include developing a fitness test for astronauts, exploring space technology and designing a space mission control centre.
