Expand your artistic skills by exploring how drawing, painting, and printmaking can evolve into sculptural and ceramic artworks. This course will strengthen your ability to draw from both observation and imagination while experimenting with a range of two-dimensional and three-dimensional techniques based on your interests and experiences.
You will take inspiration from other artists, analysing their themes, subject matter, and creative approaches to inform your own work. Through this process, you will develop a personal artistic voice while refining your technical skills. Your two dimensional and three-dimensional work will form a body of work for your final submission and display.
The theoretical component of this course examines historical and contemporary art practices, incorporating diverse cultural influences. Through analysis and discussion, you will deepen your understanding of artistic styles while developing critical thinking and creative exploration.
