Course Information

If you thrive on teamwork, enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas, enjoy solving problems, and tackling challenges head on, and if you are eager to gain practical skills to acquire job-ready skills with a passion for learning new things, then this course is for you.  

In this course you will engage in the engineering design process to tackle complex problems in cyber security. You will develop technical skills in digital technologies focusing on a cyber-security context, and further develop new collar skills including teamwork, creativity, problem solving, intercultural understanding, and communication. 

You will collaborate with industry partners to solve real cyber security problems and develop both academic and work ready skills.

The College will provide opportunities for P-TECH students to attend industry conferences. This may include attending CyberCon, a national cybersecurity conference in Melbourne and learning with students from our sister school, Camberwell Secondary School. This is not compulsory and will proceed annually or biannually based on numbers of students interested.

Interstate Camp: Approximately $1500-$1800 plus spending monies, depending on flights and accommodation costs
