Course Information

The goal of our Year 10 Dance course is to build on the foundations established in previous years, providing students with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in dance, as well as provide an opportunity for students who are new to the subject and wish to develop skills in this area.

Throughout the course, students will explore a range of dance styles, techniques, and genres, and develop their abilities in choreography and performance.

Students will also develop their physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills, as well as their communication and self-discipline. This course is suitable for those who are passionate about dance and wish to pursue a career in the performing arts, as well as those who simply wish to explore their creativity and express themselves through movement.

This course provides students with a challenging and rewarding learning experience, enabling them to develop their dance skills and knowledge, and encouraging them to explore their creativity and expressivity through movement.

Students can choose from a variety of genres including contemporary, hip hop, street dance, and cultural dances, for example, Spanish, Indian, and Bollywood.
