Engaging, Active, Happy!

At Joseph Banks SC, we know that when students feel connected to their school community it has a positive impact on their engagement and academic success. We also know that opportunities to connect with school staff in a positive way are an important part of building a sense of connectedness and community.

Supported by the college Wellbeing Team and Youth Support Workers, students can engage in a variety of games during scheduled lunch breaks throughout the week. Feedback from our students (and staff) so far has been incredibly positive with one student proudly and loudly proclaiming “This has been the best lunch break of my life!”
