Parent Teacher Telephone Interviews

Dear Families,

At Joseph Banks Secondary College, we offer a variety of ways for parents to communicate with their child’s teachers.

Given the current Phase One COVID requirements announced by the government, and to avoid any uncertainty, our Parent Teacher Interviews on Wednesday 30^th June, will now be conducted by telephone call.

For parents who have already made bookings, you have already entered a telephone number, if necessary, you can log back in to your booking to update your telephone details for our staff to use.  

Bookings are still open for parents to make appointment times between 1.30pm and 6.30pm.

Interviews are 7 minutes each. To allow for technical issues it is vital that parents keep to this schedule and end their telephone appointments in a timely manner. If you think you will need more time, please discuss this with the teacher during the telephone conversation.

The smooth running of our event relies on all parents and teachers keeping to the timetable. If you believe you may require more time with a particular teacher, please email the staff member to arrange a separate meeting or phone call.

Teachers will call parents. 5 minutes before your appointment is due to start, please have your phone nearby. Please note, teachers may be calling from numbers without any caller ID (Silent numbers).

We recommend scheduling a gap between bookings.

If possible, your child should be sitting with you for these appointments.
