Planned Service Outage

Dear Families,

The Joseph Banks Secondary College IT Support Team aim to provide reliable, available services such as SEQTA, ClickView and our Website. As such we have put strategies in place to ensure that outages are planned at times when there will be minimal or no impact on student outcomes.

The IT Support Team would like to advise families, staff and students of an upcoming, planned outage on Thursday, April 21st 2022 between 7:30AM and 4PM. This outage is scheduled inline with a planned power outage at the College arranged by Western Power for maintenance works.

During this outage the below services will be unavailable:

  • SEQTA
  • VOIP Phone Systems
  • ClickView
  • Helpdesk
  • College Website (jbsc.wa.edu.au)
  • Campus Wi-Fi
  • Printing Services
  • Identity Manager (identity.jbsc.wa.edu.au)

This outage has been planned during school holidays to minimise the impact on student outcomes. If you have any questions, please contact the IT Service Desk on 08 9303 7452 or email itsupport@jbsc.wa.edu.au. During the outage, we will not be available to answer calls on our usual line (as above) due to the power outage.
