Year 10 2025

In preparation for 2025, students in Year 9 are now required to select their courses for Year 10 2025. Building upon the ideals of our Middle School, we believe that all individuals in the Year 10 Community should have every opportunity extended to them to assist them in reaching their full potential. The focus is on serving every child, every lesson, every day. Our aim is to develop a Senior School that caters to the needs of our young adult learners.

Students will have a range of courses to select from, with each student being able to select their own program that suits their individual aspirational goals and enables them to meet the requirements as determined by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA).

Students in Year 10 will be required to complete a Certificate II qualification which will provide them with a strong foundation in further training, as well as providing a safety net of up to 4 unit equivalents for Year 11 and 12. Students should then select the courses that they want to participate in based on their personal aspirations and discussions they have with their families, and teachers, as well as ensuring their selections satisfy the school’s minimum requirements.

Year 11 2025

Year 10 students will be required to select their courses and preferred pathway for Year 11 this term. The courses that students select will determine their preferred pathway in Year 11 and 12, and beyond. As such, we understand that parents and students will require additional support and guidance to make such a large decision.

To support and collaborate with students, each parent will be contacted via telephone in advance of Week 8, to organise an interview with a course counsellor to finalise the course choices. This is an opportunity to discuss and finalise your child’s preferred pathway for 2025.

Domain Leaders will also provide an overview of course choices to students, in addition to a family engagement evening which will take place on Wednesday 22 May.
