Coding 101 is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the computer language and how it is used and created for programs you use every day. The course covers the basics of programming languages, algorithms, data types, and control structures. Students will get to be creative and innovative while writing code using popular programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Swift, C++, C# or Ruby. The course aims to help students develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to become proficient coders. Through practical exercises and projects, students will learn to create simple programs, apps and games to gain a deeper understanding of how computer programs work and are used in their everyday lives. The course is suitable for beginners with no prior coding experience and provides a foundation for further study in computer science or related fields.
