Course Information

In this elective you will go on an international cultural journey and explore a range of traditional cuisines. You will build upon your culinary skills and knowledge of the kitchen and kitchen processes in preparation for Senior School studies such as Food Science Technology and Certificate II in Hospitality. You will learn to make European cuisine such as crepes, Cornish pasties, gnocchi, paella and Greek salad; Asian cuisine such as dumplings and teriyaki chicken; South American cuisine such as tortillas and enchiladas; North American cuisine such as burgers and milkshakes and from these influences, design and create their own international cuisine dish.
