The Year 9 Introduction to Fashion Design elective gives you the opportunity to experience and explore real-life practices undertaken in the fashion industry. You will develop and strengthen your skills learnt in lower school Textiles in order to prepare them and set the foundation for Senior School textile studies such as Materials Design and Technology. In Introduction to Fashion Design you will be introduced to different fabrics and new equipment and machinery in order to design and construct usable objects and garments which meet your individual needs.
