Course Information

Do you enjoy adventure, teamwork, developing practical outdoor skills and want to challenge yourself? Students will be challenged physically, socially, and mentally, all while learning essential safety and risk management strategies to enhance their outdoor experiences.

Throughout the trimester, students will participate in activities such as orienteering, geocaching, shelter building, camp cooking, and team-building challenges, culminating in a mini expedition where they apply their skills in a real-world setting. With a focus on lifelong fitness, wellbeing, and personal growth, this course is ideal for those looking to develop confidence, teamwork, and outdoor competence. It also serves as an excellent foundation for the Year 10 Outdoor Education program.
