Course Information

This course is delivered as a hands-on computer-based workshop where students can create websites to solve real life problems. Students will build on topics taught in Year 9 Web Design; however, this is not a prerequisite for this course. This course introduces students to essential web development processes, including text- coding languages such as HTML and CSS, as they explore how to create exciting websites for their own passions.

Students will create a range of web pages, using basic content structuring and applying formatting and stylistic choices. They will explore a range of platforms to develop their own content. This course focuses on the planning, analysis, design, creation, and reflection process in web development practices, and will provide students with real-world experience as they work independently and collaboratively to develop industry-level products.
