Course Information

This course is delivered as a hands-on computer-based workshop where students can create websites to solve real life problems. The content provides students with an introduction to essential web development processes including text-based coding languages such as HTML and CSS as they explore how to create exciting websites for their own passions.

Students will experience how to create a range of web pages, using basic structuring of page content and applying formatting and stylistic choices. Students will explore a range of platforms to develop their own content, including programs such as visual studio code and the Adobe suite. This course focuses on the planning, analysis, design, creation and reflection process in the context of web development practices, giving students a real-world experience as they work independently and collaboratively to develop industry level products.
