Joseph Banks Secondary College runs a one-to-one computing device program to enhance student learning.
After much research regarding the best technology to use to support the teaching and learning programs at Joseph Banks College we decided on the Apple iPad Air as our supported Bring Your Own Designated Device (BYODD) and request that each family support the provision of this for students by acquiring an Apple iPad Air for their child.
Outlined below are the minimum specifications information you will need and it is important to ensure these are met in order to enable the student to access the internet though the College’s WiFi network as well as accommodating the electronic resources provided by the College.
The downloading of the electronic resources will be enabled through either home internet connections or through the College’s network.
As the device is purchased by the family and is personal property, the College can take no responsibility for the loading of content by students which are deemed inappropriate. Also, insurance coverage for the loss or accidental damage to the device is required and is the responsibility of the parent.
