The Netball program is about creating, promoting and enhancing a whole school and community support system for Netball development at Joseph Banks SC. Development of their physical performance (skills, strategies and tactics) along with leadership (coaching and officiating) is a focus for all students in the program. Players will train once a week and will compete in the SSWA High School’s Cup Competition. Students have the opportunity to choose the Elite Sports Performance Netball Electives in Year 9 and 10 to build on their leadership skills developed in the after-school program with opportunities to assist at a variety of carnivals and events throughout the year to support their progression in their Netball pathway.
