Ethical Hacking

In this course, students will be given an introduction to ethical hacking with a particular focus on understanding the tools available to ethical hackers through Linux platforms such as Kali.

Metalwork

In this elective you will be familiarised with a variety of new machines and their safe use, including cold sawing metal profiles to length, MIG welding solid steel together, removing waste with an angle grinder and hot forming steel shapes with the oxy acetylene hand piece.

Woodwork

In this elective students will be familiarised with a variety of new machines and their safe use, including between centres turning on the wood lathe, band sawing curves, plate joining various pieces of timber and routering various edge profiles.

Jewellery

This elective will introduce you to the processes involved in creating your very own jewellery and covers important workshop safety considerations.

Cyber Security

In Cyber Security you will be introduced to basic cryptography concepts, securing online information, looking at how these concepts and different methods are used in industry today.
