Sisters Tech Connect supports students in becoming life-long curious learners as they look into the future and think about where the world of technology could take us, developing solutions to real-world problems that impact them in their daily lives and liaise with industry professionals to develop the skills needed to compete against other students in STEM state, national and international competitions.

Sisters Tech Connect is committed to providing a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment for all female students at Joseph Banks Secondary College as they progress on their STEM pathways. It gives students the opportunities to build relationships with their peers, work on their team building and communication, and develop industry work ready skills.

Students commit to a weekly session that varies from them learning technology terminology, exploring different types of robotics to collaborating and working together to ideate, develop and prototype digital solutions.
