In this course, you will use the Harry Potter series (both the novels and their film adaptations) to explore notions of dichotomy, such as good and evil, as well as learning about a range of literary conventions, such as archetypes, allusion, intertextuality and symbolism.

In this General course students explore health as a dynamic quality of life. They will consider the way in which beliefs and attitudes influence health decisions and learn how to plan and take action that will promote their own and the health of others.
Through interaction with the natural world, Outdoor Education aims to develop an understanding of our relationships with the environment, others and ourselves. The Outdoor Education General course focuses on outdoor activities in a range of environments, including bushwalking, sailing, climbing and orienteering.
This course provides opportunities, beyond those presented in the Mathematics Methods ATAR course, to develop rigorous mathematical arguments and proofs, and to use mathematical models more extensively.
